Outbound Study

Destinations

Curtin has over 90 exchange partnerships with universities in more than 20 countries.

Under an exchange program, you study at the host institution on a tuition waiver basis, while remaining enrolled at Curtin. This means you are still responsible for paying your Curtin tuition or HECS-HELP debt, but you do not pay tuition fees to the host institution.

Most programs are offered in English. However, some non-English speaking countries may only offer a small range of subjects in English. So an exchange to one of these universities is a great opportunity to brush up on your language skills.

Jarrad Brown Study Abroad Diary: Jarrad Brown
"I just got back from studying abroad last semester (Semester 2, 2006). I studied Economics and Finance at Loughborough University in England and used it as a base to travel across Europe. In total I visited 10 countries and stayed in 18 cities including Rome, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona and Geneva. Study abroad really teaches you things about yourself you'd never otherwise realise, which is a huge part of why it's such a great experience."
